We’ll review how Commvault enables migration and protection of workloads, applications and databases – including Oracle and Microsoft SQL database applications – to Microsoft Azure, expanding our customers’ ability to integrate Azure cloud services into their hybrid environments. And with the added ability to convert on-premises Unix Oracle databases to and from cloud-based Linux Oracle databases, we’ll demonstrate how we continue to innovate in supporting the multi-cloud mobility that has become a requirement of the progressive enterprise.

While most companies apply data protection best practices to their on-premises environments, cloud-based data is frequently overlooked. Organizations today require simplicity and flexibility in protecting and managing their data, regardless of where it resides. We’ll also review how you can take advantage of Commvault’s APIs to integrate with a variety of third-party platforms, and to even enable web-based self-service functionality. We’ll look at some examples including O365, Salesforce, G-Suite and ServiceNow, and discuss current best practices and simulation tools that can help you determine potential outcomes, quickly and cost-effectively.
